This app is published on the public internet, so these timers are the front door. A password gets you a read-only view; a one-time code unlocks control for a limited time.
Shortening the view session takes effect at the next sign-in: sessions already issued carry their own signed expiry.

Users
Only the admin account can add or edit users. A login is an email address, so every account can be sent a one-time code. A new user is given a temporary password and has to choose their own the first time they sign in.
